Understanding the motivation of individuals takes training and skill and Samantha has both.

A psychology major, Samantha published her thesis in Personality Traits and Adverse Behaviours. This has seen her develop a particular interest in research of utilising assessment tools to better understand the motivation of individuals to either new employment or same employer.

This focus on the validity, accuracy and use of tools to assess individuals was instrumental to Samantha’s involvement in development and delivery of nb&a’s Adjusting to Change program. The program uses Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to assist individuals with increasing their psychological flexibility and prepare for a change of employment.

Drawing on her training and experience in motivation and commitment, Samantha is able to quickly identify barriers to return to work and confidently guides key stakeholders through return to work management. Add in her skills in goal setting, planning, organisation and time management and you will see why Samantha is a respected and sought after consultant at nb&a.
